Food Donations - Village of Niles


During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Niles Family Services Food Pantry has seen an increase in demand for food and essential supplies. Fortunately, the Niles community has responded! Thanks to the generation of numerous businesses in Niles, along with donations from individual residents, the Niles Family Services Food Pantry is able to continue supporting those in need during these difficult times. 

Kindness Rocks Project

     
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, there are plenty of great examples of neighbors helping each other, sparking creativity, and spreading kindness to the community. The Village's first "Good News Corner" video profiles the national "Kindness Rocks" program, with tips from the Niles Senior Center on how to participate.

You too can be involved with the "Kindness Rocks Project" by using items you may already have in your home.  Enjoy this video regarding the program with Chrisann Fahy.

Kira Neely lives across the street from her grandfather, but hasn't been able to spend quality time with him due to the coronavirus outbreak.  Watch this adorable duo have a dance-off across the street from one another, which has become their daily "date".  Adorable!
