Golf Mill Town Center

Golf Mill

Village Staff have been collaborating with the Sterling Organization to finalize a concept site plan for the redevelopment of the Golf Mill Mall. The master-planned, mixed-use development will feature new retail and restaurant facilities, public gathering spaces, water features, attractive landscaping, a pedestrian promenade, a new water mill, approximately 300 luxury apartments, and a total mixed-use environment.  

9201 Milwaukee 

9201 MilwaukeeNea Maya Development has received approval to build a five-story building, 48 unit apartment building at 9201 Milwaukee Avenue. The building will have retail space and a party/amenity room for tenants on the ground floor, and residential apartments on floors two through five. The ground floor commercial space will be 4,555 sf, split into three retail spaces. The residential portion of the building will contain 48 units, with every unit being a 2-bedroom apartment. Each unit will have in-unit washer and dryer, a balcony, and will be of modern design with full luxury amenities. The building will also have enclosed, underground parking and a rooftop deck and pergola for use by its residents. The project received approval of four variations from the Planning and Zoning Board at their June 6, 2022 meeting.

6633 Milwaukee

6633 MilwaukeeT2 Capital Management is proposing to build a 235 unit apartment building at the former Hesco property. The building will be six stories tall, with partially enclosed parking on the first floor and outdoor parking surrounding the building. Some of the amenities at the building will include stainless steel appliances in all units, in-unit washers and dryers, private balconies for most units, a large ground floor clubroom, a fitness center, a rooftop clubroom and amenity terrace, a swimming pool and sun deck, fire pits, grilling stations, and a walking path around the detention pond in the rear of the building. 


7509-7525 Milwaukee

7509 MilwaukeePhillips Edison & Company is constructing a multi-tenant outlot building with a drive-through at 7509-7525 Milwaukee. The building will be located in the northeast portion of the Oak Mill Plaza parking lot, abutting Milwaukee Avenue and Oakton Street. The proposed building will have three tenant suites. The westernmost suite will be 2,200 square feet will be serviced by the aforementioned drive-through lane, and is expected to be filled by a coffee shop. The two remaining suites will be 1,200 sf each and are intended for restaurant/retail tenants. There will also be an 877 sf patio constructed on the eastern side of the building. The drive through serving the coffee shop will have a u-shaped configuration to allow the building to sit close to the property line and sidewalks, allowing easy access from both pedestrians and drivers.

6605-6615 Milwaukee

6605-6615 MilwaukeeIn August, 2021, the Village Board approved a Special Use permit to allow for the conversion of the former Kuper Monument building at 6605-6615 Milwaukee Avenue into a 14-unit apartment building. The adaptive reuse will include new windows, new balconies, a new parking lot, a landscaped courtyard, and a rooftop deck.

7065-7089 Milwaukee

Harts Plaza Phase 3Mega Realty has submitted for a building permit to construct a second retail building at the Harts Plaza shopping center. The new building will contain 7,050 square feet of retail tenant space. The building will match the existing building at Harts Plaza, with a limestone and brick façade.
