The current local motor fuel tax rate is 4 cents per gallon. Motor fuel means all volatile liquids compounded or used for fueling motor vehicles including gasoline, gasohol, and diesel fuel . The local motor fuel tax was adopted by the Village Board in 2010 (Ordinance 2010-29).
