Building and Zoning Committee
PURPOSE
The Building and Zoning Committee shall be charged with reviewing and modifying, if necessary, the Village of Niles Comprehensive Plan, The Building and Zoning Committee shall oversee the Planning and Zoning Board to insure that the Village of Niles Comprehensive Plan is followed. The Committee shall make suggestions for the amendment of Chapter 78 Signs, and to advise the Director of Community Development.

The Building and Zoning Committee shall consist of five voting members. The members shall be a Trustee (appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees), Community Development Director, the Chair of the Planning and Zoning Board and two appointed resident members.

Meetings of the Building and Zoning Committee shall be held at the call of the Chair. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. All agendas are posted at Village Hall in accordance with the Open Meeting Act. Minutes are available following approval.
