Niles offers property tax incentives for special commercial and industrial development.
The Goal of these incentives is to encourage re-occupancy and/or redevelopment of the few properties we have within our community that have remained vacant, or due to changes in business practices have become functionally obsolete to today's modern business user.
The programs outlined on the following pages are actually programs administered through the Cook County Assessors office. However, each requires the Village of Niles support through the adoption of a resolution for their applications to be approved at the County level.
