Girls Group begins on Tuesday, August 23 from 4:00- 5:00 pm
Boys Group begins on Thursday, August 25 from 4:00- 5:00 pm
Have you had a rough week at school? Are you juggling too many responsibilities and feeling stressed? Having a conflict with a friend? Or maybe you just want to share ideas with other teens? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join us for group! Girls group is Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00, and boys group is Thursdays from 4:00-5:00.
These groups are designed to meet the social and emotional needs of teens. They focus on improving self-esteem/self-image, communication skills, conflict resolution, reducing stressors and addressing other challenges teens face. The groups are facilitated by Nicole Espinoza and Darren Brown of Niles Family Services.

Game Tournament- Injustice Gods Among Us- Wednesday, Aug 24- 4:00-5:30 pm
Most Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m., the Teen Center staff will set up tournaments for video games and table games like Foosball, Air Hockey, Darts, NBA2K16 or Call of Duty 3. Prizes may be awarded to winners.
Classic Car Cruise Nights at Golf Mill- Thursday August 25- 6:00- 9:00 pm
Classic Car Cruise Nights are coming to Golf Mill Shopping Center! Experience unique classic cars, great music, food specials, trophy’s, and more at this new summer series. Cruise Nights are not limited to vintage cars but include old and new cars, unique vehicles, motorcycles and even electric vehicles. Invite your car friends to come on down and show off their vehicles and possibly win a prize.
Cruise Night Details: Cruise nights are free to cruisers and spectators. Show car parking opens at 5:30pm in the east parking lot off Milwaukee Avenue. There will be reserved parking for 50+ cars. Crusie Night is open to classic, antique, custom, and exotic cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Spectators are reminded to not park before 4:00 p.m. in the featured lots. Featured lots will only be open for participating cruise cars for the duration of the event.
Cruise Nights will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, and Thursday, September 29th

Mark your calendars for the Back to School Dance on Saturday, Sept. 10
Grab your friends and dance away your back-to-school blues!!! Come to the Niles Family Fitness Center gym for music and dancing by Pro-Mix Audio and Lighting. There will be no entry after 8:00 p.m. and if you leave the dance, you may not re-enter. Open to 6th through 8th grades ONLY (or any current Teen Center member).

Cost: $10 per person (includes 4 tickets for drinks and snacks)

Niles Community Block Party on Saturday, September 10
Come join in the fun at the 1st annual Niles Block Party. The event will include fun and games, bingo, food, high-energy demonstrations, scavenger hunt, bubble show and raffle prizes.

Niles Public Library - Teen Programs
Marbles and Marshmallows- Friday, Sept. 9, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Let the marbles roll and marshmallows fly! Designers will have their pick of recyclable materials to craft their marble runs and design marshmallow catapults. Work as a team or chose to work alone. Prizes for creativity and engineering ingenuity. Prior Registration Required at www.nileslibrary.org or by calling 847-663-6640
ID cards REQUIRED for TC Attendance
Remember, ALL Teens are REQUIRED to have and USE their teen center ID cards to CHECK-IN to the facility. Any need for a reprinted ID will be $5 each. If you don’t have your ID, you will create more work for Mark and he will have to manually check you in. The new MaxGalaxy software does not allow members to bypass the ID scanner, therefore ALL TEENS MUST USE THEIR ID CARDS TO CHECK-IN. Thanks!
