The Niles Police Department has received numerous calls from Niles residents indicating they are receiving calls from 847-779-1659, which is a Village of Niles telephone number. Once they receive the call, the phone immediately disconnects. Please note that although this number is affiliated with the Village of Niles, it is currently not in use. The Village is currently having phone issues Village-wide and our IT Department is working on fixing this issue.
