Police Department 2011 Citizens Police Academy

What is the Citizens Police Academy?
The Citizens Police Academy is ten weeks in length and is free of charge. You will spend those ten weeks learning about the Niles Police Department and how it functions. There will be hands-on training in evidence, firearms and patrol. You will be taught by Niles police officers. Classes will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Upon graduation you will receive a diploma and we will enjoy an evening with family and friends and a good meal.
