The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that lane closures will occur along IL 58 (Golf Road) in Glenview, Morton Grove and Niles for roadwork beginning, weather permitting, Monday, March 30.
In order to complete the work, one lane will be closed in both directions of Golf Road from Potter Road to Lincoln Street. The three mile long project will include pavement patching, roadway milling and resurfacing.
The project is slated to be completed by August of 2015.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
