This year’s Bike Niles Festival, will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at Gemini Jr. High. The event is free and open to all area families that wish to promote and support cycling in Niles. Highlights for the event include three different bike courses, Division Stunt Team BMX Show, Safety Town, a bounce house for kids, Ronald McDonald, Snoopy, vendors, food, giveaways and much more.
Bike Niles Fest participants will be the first to use the newly unveiled Robert W. Amling’s Memorial Bike Route. The route will be clearly marked with bike route signs, which will allow bikers to travel the route safely and efficiently. The Bike Niles Fest will consist of three different bike courses for riders of all ages and experience levels to enjoy; the Tyke Ride, which is approximately a half mile course for ages four through seven, the Family Bike Ride, which is approximately a two to three mile course for ages seven and up, and the Experienced Bike Ride, which is approximately six miles.
