[ARCHIVED] Hazardous Weather Outlook June 18, 19, & 20, 2012

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cook County through Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 90s and high humidity, with peak heat indices of 98 to 103 degrees. If a cooling center is needed, the Niles Fitness Center is open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Senior Center is open 8:30 a.m. 5 p.m. weekdays. Please check on those in your neighborhood with limited access to air conditioning and transportation, such as seniors or those who are ill. If you need assistance please call 847-588-6500 or 911.
